Walking through the Newark Liberty International Airport and looking for some good vegan options?
You are in the right place!
This guide is designed to give you the best vegan options in each terminal of the Newark Liberty Airport.
We did find a lot more local restaurants inside the airport, but couldn’t determine which, if any, offered good vegan options. If you know of any good options that we’re missing, please reach out and let us knowso we can improve this guide!
Vegan Options at Newark Liberty Airport
Many chain location names are clickable and will take you to the complete vegan guide for that restaurant.
Terminal A
Jersey Mike’s (Terminal A Food Court)
Jersey Mike’s recently unveiled a new Grilled Portabella & Swiss Sub. Obviously, omit the swiss cheese and make sure to get the sub on either Wheat or Seeded Italian Bread. A pretty good upgrade from just having to order lettuce and tomatoes on bread!
Playa Bowls (Terminal A Food Court)
Oh so many fresh fruit bowl & smoothie options here. Check our Playa Bowls guide to know which bases are vegan and how to modify the bowls.
Ess-A-Bagel (Gate 15)
A VeggL user let us know that Ess-A-Bagel offers vegan-friendly bagels and vegan cream cheese. You will need to ask which bagels are your vegan options when visiting.

–>Be aware that a few days after we shared this information, another VeggL user stopped by and they said they do not have vegan bagels to go with their vegan cream cheese. We do not know what to make of this so you will still need to ask.
Dunkin (A24)
Multiple bagels (like Everything and Cinnamon Raisin) are available. Avocado Toast and Hashbrowns make Dunkin a decent choice.
Dunkin’ also now offers both oat and almond milk (with an extra charge) which makes many coffee combinations possible.
Smokehouse BBQ (Gates 26/27)
A VeggL user let us know that Smokehouse BBQ has a small vegan section on their menu with Vegan Wings (mushroom based) and a vegan sausage dog.

Burger Fi (A27)
Burger Fi offers a Vegan Beyond Burger! Pair it with some fries then add your seasoning if you want and your meal is complete.
Starbucks (A28)
Plenty of coffee drinks & combos you can create with oat, almond, soy or coconut milk. We have a list of Starbucks options broken down by hot & cold drinks plus modifications.
And don’t forget they have a few food options. Look for the Chickpea & Avocado Protein Box, a bagel (plain, cinnamon raisin or everything), Strawberry Overnight Grains or Oatmeal. They also have plenty of snacks. Check the ingredient lists.
Terminal B
Farmer’s Fridge (Concourse B Pre-Security AND In the Connector Towards B51)
Vegan Options in a fridge (aka a vending machine), touchless ordering and offers a reward program with the Farmer’s Fridge app. You can find a variety of options ranging from oats, a burrito bowl, chips & guac and even vegan cookie dough bites. These options will always vary.
Salsaritas (Concourse B Pre-Security)
A VeggL user let us know that Salsaritas has a couple of options that can be made vegan; a Basic Burrito or Bowl with NO cheese or sour cream. We have NOT confirmed if these are in fact vegan options so please ask prior to ordering.

Panda Express (Concourse B Pre-Security)
Chow Mein* and Vegetable Springs Rolls are all great accidentally vegan options at Panda Express. Pair these with steamed white or brown rice and add a side their yummy Super Greens.

Delta Sky Club (In the Connector Towards B40)
We have been told by VeggL users that have access to the Delta Sky Club that they typically has vegan options.
Firehouse Subs (In the Connector Towards B40)
Firehouse Subs offers two vegan breads that you can create a sub with, plenty of veggies and sauces. Check our Firehouse Subs guide for details.
Vino Volo (In the Connector Towards B60)
We had a VeggL user let us know Vino Volo is an option at a different airport so we’re adding it here as well.
We suggest asking what options are or can be made vegan but we were told you can order Avocado Toast, Avocado & Beet salad (minus the feta), and Truffle popcorn without the butter (ask them for a little extra truffle oil instead).
Terminal C
Starbucks (Gates C82 & C95)

Red Mango (Gate C83)
A VeggL user let us know that there is a Red Mango here! Red Mango offers smoothies. Not everything is vegan so you will need to ask which ones on the menu are.

Garden State Diner (between Gate C107 & C109)
A VeggL user let us know Garden State Diner offers a Happy Cow burger that is 100% vegan!
